I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome/ME in 2009. I now class myself as a ‘recovering fatiguer’. I wrote a blog during the worst times of my illness Living with Chronic Fatigue on Blogger. This blog is how I moved on, took control and assisted my own recovery with food. I published a book, Eating for Energy, available on Amazon. Recipes and tips in there and on here are all about how I helped and continue to help myself daily and how I can help you. Recipes are useful for fatigue-related conditions and for people with popular food intolerances. They are also designed for experimentation. I started with Elana’s Pantry and then began changing ingredients then went on to create my own recipes. That’s what I encourage you to do. Enjoy!
My background is complementary therapies. I had just become fully self-employed at the time of my diagnosis. Through changing my diet dramatically I found a way to keep going. I continue to work as a massage therapist, hypnotherapist and Pilates Instructor. I enjoy walking the dogs, writing and reading in my spare time and I always have a pot of tea on the go.
